Established in 1982, Dunn, King & Associates is locally owned court reporting firm in Montgomery, Alabama.  

Several of our court reporters carry certification credentials they attained by voluntarily submitting to testing by the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA); namely, the Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) exam, Registered Merit Reporter (RMR) exam, the Registered Diplomate Reporter (RDR) exam, certified realtime reporter (CRR) exam. 

NCRA requires continuing education to maintain certification.  The CSR designation indicates compliance with the Alabama Court Reporters Association Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) requirements and also requires continuing education to maintain the designation.

These certifications, validations, and/or as graduation from an NCRA approved school, are important in Alabama since it is presently a non-certification state, meaning anyone, whether qualified or not, may report in Alabama.

Dunn, King & Associates is the market innovator in the area of  Quality Assurance.  We have developed and refined a production department that is dedicated full-time to the quality of each transcript.  Our two senior reporters, Pat Higgins and Ann Ray, who together have over 25 years' experience, supervise the proofreading of every transcript.  No transcript leaves our office without their final approval.
